We asked our customers to tell us their favorite spots to see the fall colors for a chance to win free heating oil or propane, and we’re happy to say that we received an overwhelming response. Check out the best fall foliage spots our customers shared with us in the comments section below.
Laurence from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is the Grand Prize winner of our “The Heat is On Us” sweepstakes. Laurence’s entry was selected at random from over 40,000 entries submitted by residents of New England and Atlantic Canada.
Laurence originally learned about our contest through an e-mail, and when he first found out he was the winner, Laurence was in complete disbelief as he told us, “…I never win anything!”.
The picture to the left is from Laurence’s first delivery of free heating oil, and when we asked what winning the grand prize meant to him, Laurence said “Freedom of no payments for a year! Thank you Irving Energy”.
Congratulations to Conrad from Claremont, NH for winning an Apple iPad in our Account Management contest! When he was told that he was the winner, Conrad said, “This is so awesome…I have NEVER won anything in my life”.

Irving Energy was proud to be a part of Ricky’s Race for Kids. The race is held annually in honor of Ricky Miller who died in a tragic racing accident, with the proceeds going to David’s House. For over 25 years, David’s House has provided a home away from home for families whose children are receiving treatment through the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Ricky’s Race raised over $51,000 for David’s House this year.
Irving Energy employees and local community members participated in the pre-race party on July 13th at Gateway Motors in White River Junction, VT, and at the main event that took place at the Canaan Fair Speedway the next day.
Irving Energy was excited to get involved in the pre-race party, where community members came out to enjoy the tasty BBQ, live music, and a dunk tank, along with many other fun festivities. Irving Energy raffled off gas cards and free heating fuel to three lucky winners and brought their very own photo booth (pictured above). The booth was a huge hit, with many kids sneaking in for seconds. Check out some of the pictures below!
