Irving Proudly Supports Ricky’s Race for Kids 2012
Irving Energy was proud to be a part of Ricky’s Race for Kids. The race is held annually in honor of Ricky Miller who died in a tragic racing accident, with the proceeds going to David’s House. For over 25 years, David’s House has provided a home away from home for families whose children are receiving treatment through the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Ricky’s Race raised over $51,000 for David’s House this year.
Irving Energy employees and local community members participated in the pre-race party on July 13th at Gateway Motors in White River Junction, VT, and at the main event that took place at the Canaan Fair Speedway the next day.
Irving Energy was excited to get involved in the pre-race party, where community members came out to enjoy the tasty BBQ, live music, and a dunk tank, along with many other fun festivities. Irving Energy raffled off gas cards and free heating fuel to three lucky winners and brought their very own photo booth (pictured above). The booth was a huge hit, with many kids sneaking in for seconds. Check out some of the pictures below!
